Desde a última terça (17/12) uma coletânea digital dos Beatles, intitulada “The Beatles Bootlegs Recordings 1963″, está sendo comercializada via iTunes. São 15 “takes” alternativos de estúdio e 44 registros captados ao vivo em programas da rede de emissoras BBC, totalizando 59 fonogramas. Mas o real motivo do lançamento é uma manobra da gravadora do grupo para que os diretos autorais sobre esses registros “não oficiais” se tornem legítimos. Uma mudança da lei de direitos autorais vigente na Comunidade Europeia restringe o recolhimento somente sobre gravações consideradas oficiais, o que passa a acontecer, agora, com esse material. A pergunta que fica é: por que não o lançamento em CD/vinil? Veja abaixo a lista com todas as faixas:
